Principal's Message
Message from Ms. Boyd:
Welcome back to all of our Rangers. It was so nice to see all of the smiling faces returning to school ready to learn. The teachers have been working diligently preparing lessons that spark the interest of all students. In this time of renewal, it is always interesting to see what goals students set for themselves. Please take the time with your child to see what importance they put on their own education. We at Lake Forest Elementary believe that ALL students can achieve and we set the expectation to always do your best! The students address this concept when they recite their daily affirmation, “…with my best efforts and a little motivation, great things will come my way.”
We are in the process of finalizing our school’s new website. It is very user friendly and has links to many of the programs your child uses in class daily. Please watch for the unveiling later this month.
Thank you for your continued support of our educational program. I look forward to seeing you at the Family Reading Night on Jan 19, 2012.

New Website Initiative
Welcome to the 2011 -2012 school year and our new website! Broward Schools has developed a new initiative which provides all schools in Broward County with great websites - at no out-of-pocket cost to the school. One of the goals of this initiative is to enhance communication between us. Our school is so proud to be able to participate.
In a few months, our website will have advertising and this advertising will (1) fund the cost of the website and (2) a percentage of profits generated will be shared back to our school. Therefore, please use our website and check back here often as your participation will help us generate income!
