Program Offers

  • Arts-driven school transformation: We use the arts as a lever to boost attendance, reduce behavioral incidents, and raise student achievement by making learning more relevant and inspiring.
  • Whole-child focus: Arts integration supports social-emotional learning, self-expression, and confidence — helping students build resilience and stronger relationships with peers and adults.
  • Equity and access: Turnaround Arts ensures that all students in targeted Broward schools receive sustained, standards-aligned arts instruction regardless of background or zip code.
  • Teacher capacity & collaboration: Classroom teachers work alongside teaching artists to design interdisciplinary lessons that link arts experiences to core standards and measurable outcomes.
  • Community partnerships: Local arts organizations, cultural institutions, and volunteers amplify programming, offer mentorship, and provide performance and exhibition opportunities for students.
  • Student-centered outcomes: Students gain creative skills, communication abilities, and portfolio work that reflect deeper learning and authentic achievement.
  • Sustained impact: The program emphasizes professional development, curricular resources, and leadership support so arts integration continues long after initial implementation.
