Specialized Programs
Early Learning Programs
Our Early Learning programs provide a joyful and confident start for every child through high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction and strong family support. We offer a nurturing, play-based Pre-K program that promotes social-emotional growth, early academics, and positive learning habits, as well as Head Start programs for 3- and 4-year-olds that support school readiness, health, and family engagement. Across all programs, we emphasize equity, culturally responsive practices, and ongoing progress monitoring to ensure every child enters kindergarten healthy, curious, and prepared for success.
Our school’s Autism Specialized Program is a nurturing, evidence‑based learning environment dedicated to meeting the unique needs of students on the autism spectrum. Grounded in individualized instruction, the program combines specialized therapies, small‑group teaching, and differentiated academic supports to promote communication, social skills, independence, and academic growth. Highly trained teachers, paraprofessionals, and therapists collaborate with families to develop personalized education plans that honor each student’s strengths, interests, and learning profile. Through purposeful routines, sensory‑friendly spaces, and structured opportunities for peer interaction, students build confidence and meaningful relationships while accessing the general curriculum whenever appropriate. Turnaround Arts in Broward County Schools brings high-quality, sustained arts learning to our district’s highest-need schools. By embedding visual arts, music, drama, and dance into daily instruction, the program strengthens student engagement, academic achievement, and overall school climate.
